Youth Employment Assistance (previously known as SLES)
- Children of the Sun Pty Ltd provides personalised Youth Employment Assistance for young NDIS participants who are preparing to enter the workforce. Our program uses a person-centred approach, with supports tailored to each participant’s individual needs, abilities, interests and employment goals. We work alongside participants to build practical skills, confidence and independence while helping them explore meaningful pathways into employment. Youth Employment Assistance may include support with: Money-handling and budgeting skills Time management and organisation Workplace communication Career exploration and discovery activities Work experience opportunities Resume writing and interview preparation Job-readiness and workplace skills Independent travel and transport training Personal development and confidence building Understanding workplace expectations Identifying suitable employment pathways Our goal is to help each participant recognise their strengths, develop valuable workplace skills and feel confident taking their next steps towards employment.
